Flash Forward Finalist
If you've seen the main page of Bitey Castle, you're probably aware that my 30 shorts in 30 days project is a finalist in the upcoming Flash Forward conference to be held in Boston next month.
I'm up against Bernard Derriman's 'Congo Windfall'. In the past, Bernard and I have gone head-to-head in several festivals so for Flash Forward, we've finished our trailers. Here they are. A big THANKS to Ween, who have kindly granted permission to use this song for the festival trailer:

Hah, that was a brilliant trailer, yet I wonder... why is 3:33 at the end?
I will vote for you. Actually, I probably already have. I can't remember. Keep up the good work. Waterlollies looks so much closer to the finish when you put the graph like that, you trickster :P.

3:33 was the original number 17 of the 30, but I decided to make it a standalone Halloween movie instead, and created "Brisk Walk" to replace it.
Brisk Walk contains someone else's music for which I haven't got permission though, so legally I can't enter it into festivals or competitions without clearance.

I love your 30 shorts in 30 days, kept up with them everyday, but that bernie guy's animation is wicked as well. You 2 are lyk da best flash animators eva!

hay once you've finished waterlollies it would be awesome if you got all your flash movies and put them onto a DVD and sold it on the site or something i would definitely buy a copy and so would hundreds of other people.Also it would probably be a good way to get the word around about BrakenWood and maybe that feature length Brakenwood movie wouldn't be that far away......anyway i don't know what im saying anymore keep up the good work my friend.

I voted you and I will explain why. Bernard has very good animation cycles and beautiful drawings. So do you. But for me the main reason is about shared experiences. The types of humor and situations you put in your stories are familiar to everybody in the planet. The things told by Bernard I suppose is more effective for english spoken, and more specifically for american residents that are used with this type of entertainement, like hip hop singers.

Glad to see Waterlollies is progressing. Please don't rush it, it's the quality of your work that adds that little extra something that makes your animation so great.
