Need information on Digital Art worshops Summer Schools

Hi. Long time without posting thanks to A levels and other responsibilities, not that I'll badger on about it since it's probably the same for everyone here. =)
I'm almost 18 and so my mum wanted to do something really really special for me to mark the leap into adulthood ;so when asked what I wanted I said I would love to go to a digital painting workshop/seminar or summer school. The problem is google has failed to yield any useful information and I'm at a loss at how to find any of these!
I was wondering if any of you knew of any amazing digital events going down at all in 2009?
Any information you could spare would be gratefully received!
