Have you seen the film, Adam?

I was actually thinking about seeing it, but I didn't realize that they had released it already.

I don't know, I find the landscapes and some of the creatures to be very imaginative.

Sure, the whole Romeo & Juliet thing is very cliche by this point, but it doesn't look bad to me.

I'd rather see this than Bee Movie or Horton Hears a Who (neither of which I've seen either, but their trailers were really annoying).

It looks purty decent.

However, I will never see a movie with a character voiceovered by Kelly Ripa.

haha, oh wow... the wiki says the movie took 10 years to make and the website has examples of the animation in progress which date back to the year 2000.

It probably took ten years to make because their publishers pulled their funding and they had to rely on being funded by their parents.  When my dad linked me to the trailer a few weeks ago, I looked it up on IMDB.  Nobody working on this film had any listed experience doing anything else.  I can't understand how anyone can look at such a cliche, unoriginal plot and think its the greatest idea ever and then spend ten years working on it.

I can't help but imagine their development process being somewhat like this:
"Okay guys, this is our fifth year working on 'Delgo' here at Fathom Studios.  I wanted to wait until our director finished his shift at Taco Bell but... Mother!  Do you have to clean the basement now?"

I haven't seen it. The trailer is abysmal though and is the spitting image of a local TV series that's currently being made that makes me sick and dizzy to look at. I'm sure it has redeeming qualities.. to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if the bad press is a bit OTT. I feel terribly sad for the guy whose original idea it was.. I wonder if he thought it would be a hit.

The trailer was boring. Yeah there are some action sequences but nothing original. The running into battle animation looked awfully like the running into battle sequence from Lord of the Rings.

The characters looked a bit plain and forgettable IMHO.

And the comedy clips include 'Burping after silence', 'landing on his nuts', 'hitting a big idiot and he didn't feel it'...I am not 4years old. Quite plain unimaginative humour.

Some of the visuals are nice, as is some of the animation. But what really grinds me is the over use of celebrity voices. YAWWWN! How very 'dreamworks' of them.
(Freddie Prince Junior.....sigh fuck me...scrapping the bottom of the barrel is an understatement)

To ESN: Yeah i would rather see this than Bee Movie too. Hortons hears a who is actually not a bad film. It's very imaginative, and the humour is quite good on different levels, some childish and some that adults can find funny. Great facial expressions and exaggerated character movements as well. I recommend it.

Looks cheesy, cliche, low-budget, lame, annoying, and unfunny.

The character design are dreadful.  Looking at the trailer, i'm really not surprised no one went to see it.
