Battle of Six Kingdoms

[Phobia]

There is a world unlike our own where six kingdoms rule a section of the world.  Aura, Kingdom of Air. Incendia, Kingdom of Fire. Aqui, Kingdom of Water. Terra, Kingdom of Earth. Tenebras, Kingdom of Darkness. Then the last one Lux, Kingdom of Light.
The six kingdoms have created allies amongst each other to over throw the other kingdoms.

Aura, Tenebras, and Terra.

Incendia, Aqui and Lux.




The battle is never ending and loyalty is being question among the citizens and even royal family members. Even the creatures that once lived in the kingdoms in harmony are now being pressured to chose sides. If three of the kingdoms are lost, then the world will be unbalanced, but the ignorant kings refuse to understand this. A group of six people from each kingdom must band together and help their world. If they don't their world will be unbalanced and they will lose everything they once known.

Legend says that the six people from each kingdom will bear a key to unlock wonders. These 'keys' carry amazing powers, some even say it is the source of all the elements even life itself. The 'keys' can be any source of power. A weapon, a piece of cloth, or even a locket. Each key is different from eachother. The key from Incendia carries the power of fire and lighting. The key from Aqui carries the power of water and ice. The key from Lux carries the power of light and goodness. The key from Tenebras carries the power of darkness and evil. The key from Aura carries the power of air and flight. The key from Terra carries the power of earth and life.  If they all band into one group and take the six keys to the Temple of Marama the war will end. So says the legend. . .


[NOTE: Any characters can have one elemental power, be any race, have any weapons and such. But don't get all crazy. Personal message me the profiles PLEASE! Also have a picture. You can have up to three characters. If you already have one main character you can't have anymore. I accept royal members and I do not care if they have love affairs between enemy royal members. Also I do not want to see modern weapons, no guns, no tanks, no airships and no cars.]

Power: Nis is able to make anyone's worst nightmares come to life. All he has to do is touch them and he knows their fears. He manifest the fear, able to project it into real life and make it cause serious damage to the person that has that fear. He can also separate his body from his spirit, make his spirit go into someone else's body, control their actions.
Weapons: None
History: Nishant was born in the city of Sin in the Kingdom of Tenebras but raised in the palace of Xolotl. Raised at a very young age he was taught the dark arts of his power. The power of Nightmares. His family is very rare type of demons, some even say they are related to the famous Sandman also known as Dream which makes Nishant royalty. Well back to Nishant when he was little he was able to see, but a tragic accident made him blind. No one knows the details of the story because he refuses to tell it, it still gives him nightmares even today. Despite the fact he has a disability he has an amazing senses even better then his two brothers. As he grew older he slowly became a rebel to his family and left. The main reason why he left because he did not want to fight in the war because every male in every family was going to be drafted. Nishant refused so he ran away. Even today he refuse to go back to his own land so he is a rouge, traveling from one place to the next.
Personality: Nishant is very twisted, he finds humor in the most morbid things. He enjoys people's fears and he also enjoys death. As said before he is very twisted. Though he maybe dark Nishant isn't all that bad. He is fairly nice guy, if you don't tick him off. He rather be alone but that doesn't mean he is anti-social.
Other: He is blind but he has sharp sense of touch, taste, smell and sound. No one knows he is actually a royal member from Tenebras.

Other: She's sweet and gentle.. usually doesn't use her powers to kill, only to disable... oh, and she can heal some illnesses.. hates war and magic. Worst fear is finding out her husband died... she ran away to protect him... they never met again.

History: No one knows much about Libitina, most people know that she is adopted into the Merchant family. What happened to her birth family? They mysteriously were killed in their beds when Libitina was 8 years old. They were slaughtered, ripped to shreads in their beds. Even her baby sister was killed. People accuse her of killing her parents but there wasn't enough proof to hold it against her. She got her 'Baby' when she was 11 and has brought ir with her everywhere.
Personality: Despite her gothic look, Libitina is actually a perky hyper little girl. She smiles a lot. especially when she holds on her 'Baby' which she adores to death.
She has no fears, she likes walking around the city of Sin in the dark by herself. She has befriended most of the dark creatures around Tenebras. She has many allies in most of the cities and she is willing to do ANYTHING for them. Libitina may not appear scary but at times she has an insane look in her eyes when she is pissed or when she is asked how her birth family was killed. She loves music! She loves to sing what she is feeling rather then telling people how she is feeling. She has an amazing singing voice and can pick up an instrument and play it well.
Other: People began to call her Reaper when she started to bring her 'Baby' everywhere with her. No one knows if she has killed anyone with it or not. But you never know. . .

The day was peaceful despite the fact the bloody battle that just ended in the city of LafDae. The Kingdom of Tenebras and the Kingdom of Lux just recently fought against each other. Bodies of angles, werewolves, witches, faeries and even humans with elemental power were slain upon the ground. The white ground of LafDae was stained with crimson hue. It was a mess, no doubt about.

Nishant walked among the corpses despite the fact he was blind yet he somehow maneuvered his way through as if he could see. His bare feet lightly touched the ground, he could feel every pebble each time he took a step forward. The heavy scent of death overwhelmed him. The feeling of death embraced him like a dark hug. It didn't bother him at all, he quite enjoyed it in fact. Death. He was accustom to the dark side of life after all he came from Sin, a minor city in Tenebras. Despite the fact he was born in Sin and was raised of Tenebra's ways he became a rouge when the war started. He refused to fight when the King of Tenebras drafted every male in every family. Nis ran away before he got drafted away. His brothers, however, were forced to be in the war and he had a strong sense they were dead. Nis was lost in his own mind as he walked through the bloody ground. He stopped as he felt his foot being in a middle of a blood puddle. He smirked and continued on his way ignoring the wet feel under his foot. As he continued to talk on ahead he left a trail of a blood foot print on the white ground.

He was the god of death and lighting. It would make sense she would come from there.

Nishant felt the blood drying beneath his foot as he stopped for a brief moment to turn his head slightly to the left. The god awful scent of death was fading away, the Aishlin gave a light sigh letting it tickle his bottom lip. He liked the scent and now it was going away. Oh well. A soft breeze once again blew through the land, shifting the white sand once again. Nishant could hear it, the sand moving below his feet. He could also hear whip lashes of corpse's hair flapping in the breeze. Nis couldn't help but smile as he began to walk once more. Soon he felt that the land below changed. Instead of fine gritty sand it was warm slit. Nish stopped, tipped his head towards the sky and inhaled. The smell was faint but still there, brimstone. How the hell did he get to Incendia? He knew for a fact that walk would take hours. Had he been walking that long? What about the corpses? Was it that many that had fallen? From the lost  city of LafDae to the boundary of Incendia? The battle must have been great. Another sigh escaped Nishant's lips. Too bad he couldn't see what was going on around him.

The slight sent of perfume entered the air.
"My name is sarah of the Incendia kingdom. I heard rumors of a man who is bind yet can see. I hear he has something that i want. perhaps a key. Have i come all this way for nothing?" sarah said to a man with a black cloth around his eyes.

"Carful what you do. Cause God is watching your every move. Hold my hand in the dark street. For If you do I know that I'll be safe. Even if I'm far away. And alone. . ." A young voice singing in the darkness of the night began to echo among the empty hallway. Bouncing off repeating some of the words before the echo died off. In the middle of the hallway stood a little girl holding onto a scythe in her left hand, while her right was stroking the handle of it. Her face was pressed against it as she continued on singing her song. "I can be sure that you'll find me there, this I know, you draw me close for a while, so quiet. You tell me everything. If I forget what you say. Then you'll come to me and tell me again. Yes you'd tell me once again. But what happens when I know it all, then what should I do after that? What then?" As the girl stopped her singing she smiled insanely to her self before she began to walk a little ways, turned a left into a room. All was quiet but soon a scream erupted in the house. But it was cut off by the sound of a blade cutting the air and a faint sound of someone gurgling. As soon as the sound died off a giggle echoed amongst the walls and the little girl holding onto the scythe walked back into the middle of the hallway. As she was leaving a trail of blood was following behind her.

If Nishant wasn't so distracted with the scent of brimstone maybe, just maybe he would've been able to smell the scent of perfume before the person that carried the scent meet up with him. When he felt someone was near he took a jump back and bowed his head slightly, if he had eyes he would have narrowed them to show is dislike of being surprised. Nishant wasn't much of a fighter but he would fight if he had to. Whoever this was sounded like a female, she even said her name. Sarah? That was her name. Where had he heard of that name before? Well he already knew her name and what Kingdom she hailed from. So why was she all way over here? Nishant stopped asking himself questions and started to listen. Once she was done talking to him he smirked. A key? So she knew a little about him. Go figure. "Why do you need this key that he keeps? Why is it important to you?" Nishant asked.

Libitina walked out of the now empty house, taking skips down the stairs and onto the solid ground. Her eyes stared down at the sidewalk before she turned her head to look up at the highest window. A smile was planted on her lips as she giggled and skipped away, the large scythe she held in her hand was cleaned from the crimson hue. She made sure there was no evidence that she was there. As she skipped down the dark streets of Sin she began to sing once more. "Os iusti meditabitur sapientiam, et lingua eius loquetur iudicium. Beatus vir qui suffert tentationem. Quoniam cum probatus fuerit accipiet coronam vitae. Kyrie, fons bonitatis. Kyrie, Ignis Divine Eleison! O quam sancta! Quam serena! Quam benigna! Quam amoena O castitatis lilium." The Latin version of her song echoed through the empty streets. Her singing ceased and she began to sing once more, same song but the version that everyone understood. The mouth of the right man will proclaim wisdom, and his tongue will pronounce judgment. The man who bears temptation will be happy, because as he succeeds in the attempt, he will receive the crown of life. Oh Lord, source of goodness, Oh Lord, Divine Fire, have mercy! Oh, how holy! How serene! How kind! How pleasant! Oh Lily of chastity."
Libitina stopped and began to hum it as she continued on her way down the street. She took a right and skipped down a dark alley way. The shadows embraced her and she walked in without fear. The shadows that were cast from the buildings overshadowed her and made it appeared she disappeared into the night. Only her humming was a sign that she was alive and well in the darkness.

Yes... sarah is a main char... fyi her worst fear is finding out her husband died... she ran away to protect him... they never met again.

"Why do you need this key that he keeps? Why is it important to you?" Nishant asked.

"Forgive me. I should have explained myself. i see you are blind, so i must first make it clear that i am unarmed." sarah drew her staff from her side and stabbed it into the ground. She walked backwards so that she was nowhere near the weapon. "My weapon is in your hands. i know our families are not in the best of terms so i stand here weaponless to show you i want peace. This war has taken too many lives. The key, yes the key. There are six keys. one in for each kingdom." Nishant walked towards sarah and picked up the staff that was protruding from the ground. "I am lead to believe then when all the keys are put into the box atop 'the Temple of Marama' then the words will find peace. Skepticism brings me to believe that it is an object of much power. I am hoping you will help me in my quest, join me even. The key of the incendia kingdom is contained in the staff that you hold. Will you put aside our parent's differences or will you fight me because of a legend that you don't know is even true? My life is in your hands sir."

Nishant stood still and listened carefully to the women's words. What she said, they didn't seem false. There was no lies in her words and her tone of voice sounded sincere. The Aishlin took a step back when he felt the ground below him vibrate as if something struck it. When he listened to Sarah a little bit more he realized it was her weapon. 'Well at least she isn't going to kill me.' He thought simply as he walked towards Sarah and picked up the staff that was protruding from the ground. He let it roll in his hands, feeling the coolness of the metal. He listened as he played with Sarah's weapon and he stopped playing it when she stopped talking. She needed a response. . ."Whats the point of killing a royal family member that will attract attention? That is the LAST thing I want. You must understand, Princess, I left my home and have no connections with Tenebras. Who you are looking for is not me. You speak of a legend that says that six people from the six kingdoms will team up. I refuse to say I come from the palace of Xoltol or even say that the blood in my veins is royal. The person you are looking for is not me. Besides I do not carry a key with me. . .if I did I have no idea where it is. I carry no weapon with me unlike you, and the only things that I have is the things you see in front of you. I am sorry Princess, go look for another blind man that knows what is going on."  Nishant said kindly as he could as he extend his hand to give back Sarah her weapon.

"Sir. if you have nowhere to go come with me. i could use a companion." she said with a smile. sarah took the weapon from the man. "I pray that you will aid me. war has cost much more then i desired, I cannot stand to see.. this." she said looking at the bodies.

Nishant bowed his head low, a sign of respect to Sarah, when she took the weapon from his hand. When he rose his head he listened to her and sensed she was talking about the bodies. He turned his body to face where he thought the dead bodies were, to make double sure he dipped his head towards the sky and inhaled. The strong smell of death was infront of him so he knew for a fact that corpses laid ahead. "I'll aid you Princess. But wouldn't your father be furious to find out you left your Kingdom to search for a Legend that MAY not even be true?"

"My father will be furious when he finds out ive come here. he'll be furious that I left his land without his permission. My mission is dangerous and my father already expressed is worries on a mission of peace." sarah said.
The ground started rumbling. "What is that" nishant asked.
"What's what?" sarah asked. two armies approached from two sides. over the sunset.
"oh. are you going to fight or run?"

Nishant felt the world rumble below him before Sarah felt it. As the ground started rumbling Nishant asked "What is that?" He turned his head towards where he felt the rumbling was the strongest. Over the sunset. He pointed towards that direction and smirked. "Lets fight." The blind man said as he untied the blindfold around his eyes, he took the blindfold and wrapped it around his hand before he opened his eyes. He couldn't see anything but it did make him look intimidating. Usually with people that are blind their eyes are white, but with Nishant, it was a different story. His eyes were black. Hollow it almost looked like. "So Princess, you think that is your father coming after you?"
