He sat there, staring at the flat screen, slightly bored, an ice cream sandwich in his stomach. As he typed, he noted the wobbliness of the desk upon which the monitor sat-probably because it was, in all respects, old. He leaned to the side, his head landing with a light thud upon the wall, as the chair he sat in was very close to the wall. He noted the cold air swilling about his feet, and was simply glad it was only there, and not chilling his arms to the bone as he typed. He wondered why he was typing about him typing-a redundant thing, really. Shrugging to himself, he took a few seconds out of his life to stare at the small gallery of smileys above the text box. blinking, he hit Post, and immediately clicked on the Warcraft III button sitting on the taskbar, collecting virtual dust.

Hmm, cool bit of word-wandering.  A bit too wordy for what it was, tough to read in some spots.  And somewhat paradoxically, it could use some fleshing out.  Not really sure how to explain myself.  Try to use less adjectives, maybe.  And some phrases can be removed without losing any meaning, like 'as the chair he sat in was very close to the wall'.

Dunno if I'm being too critical, if I'm being a jerk just disregard.   Undecided

I liked it. Descriptive and visual without being overly worded, in my opinion.  Grin
