Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.

Wherever life takes you, we'll be glad to hear about it.  Art is not the be-all and end-all for everyone.  Smiley

Don't know anyone in Portland, but I'll bump this thread in the hopes that someone who goes to AIP will see this.

Oh wow, physics to art? That's almost as bad, if not worse, as my change from pharmacy to art. hahaha

Alas, I do not go to there either.  I'm on the other side of the country; Tennessee.

Good luck with your search though!  Grin

My sis goes there for industrial design, just started her second term. She'll go on and on about how awesome it is. Art Institute is basically a franchise, so theres pretty much no question that you'd get in.. My sis didn't even have a portfolio. So they definitely aren't top notch, but they offer degrees, and judging by my sister's work (she started with little or no experience), they push you hard and you'll improve fast. If I were you, I'd at least check out PNCA first.
