This is kind of the same category as my question on blur but seeing as that got answered I thought I'd make a new thread for these so they also show up in searches.

I'm wondering how to blend one color into another. For example I have one block of color next to another and i dont want those hard lines between them, but rather nice soft ones. How do I do that? For example, the grass in the first picture and the clouds in the second.

both images you showed are blurred movieclips. First image: I drew the grassy background, converted it to a movieclip, then blurred the whole thing.
The cloud in the second images is a blurred clip too.
