this is something I did last year, it was a class assignment and I thought that it was pretty good

Dear Students of 2008,

I have seen what your ancestors have done to the African Americans.  Even 50 years ago they mistreated them.  Your ancestors tortured the African Americans by ridiculing them, death threats, and the ones who were trying to integrate got the worst of it.

They made one student be expelled for a accident that happened in the cafeteria.  Today you students separate yourselves because of racial lines as if the others were infected.  Now that you are about to graduate, remember what it took in order to integrate this historic school.

Remember what your ancestors had done and gone through in order for you to be here today.  Congratulations class of 2008, may you remember what it took to get here.

         Sincerely,
A brick that saw it all
