Made for eradication. Thats the name of this peice. I made this in the style of andrew jones. I was very turned on by his style and had been making all these crazy shapes that i decided to try a peice out that i had in mind and felt this style could really grasp what i wanted it to portray and that it did. I leave it here for you to interpert it for your self. This style was fun beacuse it was based much more on shapes and composition even though it took just as long as my other peices. Im really happy with it i love it!

great one ravenseye some critiques just that i saw off the bat her head is big for the small impression of a body frame, level of detailing is great with some parts more detailed than others.
I like the impression of details on the necklace but now shading on the neck where the necklace is resting makes it look cut and pasted on top.
The lips are stunning with nice proportions tho the nose and eyes seems to be at a slightly different perspective turned slightly to the right while the lips look straight on.
Anyway the important thing is that you've started experimenting keep it up.

Hey thanks everyone im glad to see you all are enjoying the work im throwing out I had a ton of fun doing the peice in the style of andrews and i want to continue working with that style. I also for the monroe peice am planing here today to do the same kind of thing with shape sifting and give it a crazy look which was my inital idea but then i thought about how some people in the world would go crazy just for a monroe peice so im going to throw both up on my etsy account and hopefully get a few sells! Wish me luck im a poor jobless hungry artist with 3 dollars left in my pocket and a cell bill coming in at the end of the month ILL KEEP ON GOING!

Personally I liked the one without those lines in the face. I don't know why, it feels like the piece should stay as one piece to me.

Beware of making your shapes too complex, they tend to get a bit noizy to the eye when they're small. You can weave your simple shapes together into a complex whole. Also some feel like they were made by PS filters, Andrew uses only handmade ones I think.

Thanks rubber yeah ill deff work with shapes more on the next peice i had basicly used photo shop for about 3/4 of the peice before i started figureing out other means. This is for the lineart and im considering painting him. Ive been thinking i should get on the ball lately of making up some characters to send into various trading card companys. Im poor and need some cash moneys. I keep telling my self im not good enough yet but other people keep telling me i am so i guess its worth a shot.
