Ha ha yeah I should have made that more clear sorry it was the reference im still looking for the textures to finish that pic up.

So why don't you just do your animation in Blender? It would appear Blender has enough potential for an animation outlet, and you have the skills with it that are necessary to make it happen.

I am rather confident I could finish it in blender but I really want a 2-D animation as I know next to nothing about the technique and skill set needed to animate in 2-D which is what I want to learn because its so awesome. After this project I could create a 3-D remake of the 2-D that would be pretty cool I think.

The Moon I made in blender and is a lo-poly Sphere with a normal map and a bump map (and a good material that I practically slaved over argh!)
The Sky I painted out in Photoshop this is not the original however I cropped it, the original is 2000X1080. this is the low-res.
I guess I cant upload or post that big of an image or something but whatever it still looks good
Quadruple Edit: here is a link to the full-Res Image.

I know that most don't appreciate my modest attempts at art
But I have really been working on improving. In an attempt to keep myself
from getting distracted with over doing it I made this in Microsoft Paint.
I googled face and viewed the full image opened paint and eyeballed this
"painting" when I started getting the outlines done I really shocked myself.
Please if you have any kind of Constructive Criticism any at all please help me better myself.
thank you and here is the picture.
[Edit]
P.S. The light line on the side is something that i just forgot about lol its not supposed to be there.
also this took me about Ten minutes to make is that too long?

[Edit 2]
Did a version in Photoshop from memory. took me about 20 minutes this time.
