In the spirit of the Visual Artwork, Webcomic and Animation threads that have come before...

Here is where you post the best, most thrilling, enchanting or outright ridiculous piece of music you've heard all day. You may post one a day, and comment on other people's music.

I've been finding a lot of amazing music on Youtube lately, so here are instructions for embedding Youtube videos:

Quote
The Flash tag:
[ flash=width,height]url of flash file[ /flash]

So take from the embed code that Youtube/Vimeo gives you:
<object width="400" height="300">
<param name="movie" value="VERY_LONG_URL" />

The height/width vary on Vimeo. 320x240 is common on Youtube, or 480x360 in recent videos.

Here's something I found today: a diatonic balafon being played really well somewhere in Africa.

Lithuanian wooden bells ("skrabalai"). Pretty interesting instrument. This music makes me smile. Grin

Listen to the first audio example here.

In Bb 2.0 is a collaborative music and spoken word project conceived by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls.
The videos can be played simultaneously -- the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders.
Videos have been selected from many awesome submissions from many awesome people.

Quite interesting, though that kills my computer. Reminds me of "In C", which has a similar concept.

Pieter, good playing in that, though the song itself is rather too repetitive for my tastes.

Here is someone who not only knows his instrument extremely well, but is an excellent showman (at least watch it after 3:00 - that's when the fun really starts):
