This poem is dedicated
To all the sleazy slobs
Who wriggle their way out
Of relationships and jobs

Those slippery scoundrels
Get the wrong kind of fame
Leaving all the thoughtful guys
Being labeled with bad names

"Men only want one thing,"
Most women love to say
But still you all get married
Just to leave them the next day

Perhaps you'll wait about a year
Have a baby, maybe two
And then, when you abandon him
You abandon children, too

Why don't we make a promise?
Both genders, compromise
To no longer set a standard
To actually use those eyes

Don't slap on an assumption
To anyone at all
Guys: look at her eyes
Girls: don't pick a brawl

Now if you're all quite settled
And plan to get along
I think I'll head back home
Point out another wrong

Because you know there's plenty.

The sunrise does not feel beautiful
A diamond never feels precious.
It isn't about what you feel like- it's about who you are
