Thats for sure, i also think they are cool. I try my best to give my professional work a unified color scheme.. however, I'm so afraid of getting stuck with the little knowledge i have for painting right now.. that i try to break everything down, draw things that dont make much sence.. and do my best to suck up the information for what works and what does not... if i have the same style 4 years from now, i wouldn't have been working very hard.. I see it all too much, an artist get a taste of fame (via Deviantart or conceptart.org) and they get stuck with the same method of coloring, painting, sketching and whatnot for years! As you can see, my style has changed alot over the years that ive been painting.. i never want to settle with a style.. I'm going to keep pushing my limits forever

i just re read what i wrote, and i dont make any fucking sence

let me try to explain by breaking down the picture i just painted... you can EASILY see where certain elements in the painting make small cuts.. by painting that.. i don't know how to put it specific, but i can see how it does not work. Now that i'm aware of it.. painting after painting it will fade away.
I also gave most objects in this picture different strengths of the light source, so that i could play with the interaction of each object to the other... I'm also more aware of how to do this properly now, so painting after painting it will get better.
I could probably write 6 more paragraphs, but IM super busy

Btw i always think doodles are supposed to be an experimental canvas.

thanks for helping out!
open photoshop, and just paint something with the sole intention of failing. Because by knowing how to fail, you'll know how to succeed - Espen.
