Can somebody give me any tips on animating vines? I have a character and he can make vines shoot from the ground, though I am finding it hard to animate.  Grin

start by roughing out one vine as a simple line, frame-by-frame. Once you're happy with the way it's moving, you can start to add volume to thicken it up. When that's done, you can put in the finer details like leaf sprouts and vine markings. After you've finished one vine, you can start on another. That's how I'd approach it.

Alright, thanks, guys. I did what Chluaid said, and if I say so myself, they are pretty spiffy.  Grin Thanks!
