I was going to say a lot of stuff, I even did the weight conversions from stone to pounds, but I'd rather not. I'm far, far too self concious. suffice to say, I was way way WAY heavier than you at your age. I comfort ate from a very early age because I was bullied constantly and had no perminant friends. And chocolate releases endorphins. But I was probably at my fattest around 14/15, and then the bullying got so much that I got stress endused stomach cramps (as well as the stress enduced headaches I've been having since I was at least 6) and I couldn't physically eat much of the time. thus I lost some weight / depressing ramble

I do like to swim. ^^ I used to be really good at it. I used to have all my birthday parties at the local pool by my old house, before it closed down. Grin

I love swimming, too. Before my parents got divorced and we moved, my house had the coolest pool ever. It had a tiled waterfall thing that was basically a smaller pool at a higher elevation that would overflow off of a blue mosaic ledge into the pool. Also, there was a waterslide that would always chafe your butt off when you slid down it, but it was still fun. Actually, there are probably more negative memories attached to that slide than positive, but whatever.

I know you're curious, so here's the list:

1: The chafing.
2: A guest tried to slide down backwards, hit his head on the bottom of the pool and needed stitches.
3: My cousin was being a dumb-ass and thought that it would be cool to jump off of the top and straight into the pool, and ended up slipping. Nothing major, just got the wind knocked out of him and his pride probably hasn't recovered since.
4: It once toppled over during a monsoon (it was usually nailed down to the pool deck) and landed on my dad's favorite lawn chair, pretty much demolishing it.
5: A tree from the other side of our back wall overhung and covered the top of the ladder with thorny, itchy vines which my dad never actually got around to trimming.

It goes on, but none are as exciting or note-worthy.

As for comfort eating, that's what I do all the time. Perhaps "boredom eating" is a better term, but you get the idea. I'm just blessed with the genes that allow a rapid metabolism. When I was younger, people thought I had an eating disorder because my ribs were clearly visible when I relaxed. Yeah, I got sick a lot back then.

you had a pool? O.O

we used to have a second-hand paddeling pool in the shape of two big shells that came appart. one of them was useless as it had a massive crack in it, but all the neighbours kids would come over when we had the other one set up, because no one else in the area had a paddeling pool. ^^ one year we used the cracked one as a sledge during winter, and went down the big hill in the park out the front on it. We ran over a girl who was walking up the other way. To be fair, we couldn't stop or stear a giant shell, and we yelled at her to get out of the way. She went flying though. Other than that, fun times. ^^ we had those pools as long as I can remember.

Hah. My pool was amazing. I remember my friend and I (Galen again) would tie balloons to Lincoln logs (do they have those in Britain?) so that they would always stay at the same height off of the ground and make them drift inches above the surface of the pool as we played. Good times. We thought we were such engineers. xD

Somehow I knew that was coming. Surely you've heard of Abraham Lincoln, the early American president? Well, legend claims that he grew up in a log cabin. Some toy maker designed a toy that were basically a bunch of short, narrow wooden cylinders with indents in them so they would fit together. This allowed for them to be put together to make buildings. Basically like legos, except much less successful and with fewer possibilities. They were small and light, so they were perfect for our experiments.

Tbh, i don't know how you can attempt 5 XD. I was finding 4 a pain. Trying to keep them all through A2 though Smiley

Edit: To Relym: Its just the grades for the A-Levels (advanced levels). Basically the course before you take a degree in England. It comes in two parts, an As in the first year, A2 in the second, each counting 50-50 towards the overall A-level.
