I'm about to release Chapter 2 of my Flash Animation eBook and want to know: if you were interested in the book, or you plan on buying the book, how would you like to see it released?

• Single Chapters - this means that each time a chapter is released, you can decide whether or not to buy it, regardless of whether you've bought others. For example, if you already know your way around the Flash interface, you may find that you don't need chapters 1-3 and therefore chapter 4 might be your first purchase. A single chapter will cost between $2 and $5 (depending on the page count)
• Pack of Multiple Chapters - a pack of 3 chapters would be slightly cheaper than 3 single chapters. The downside here is that you'd have to wait for 3 chapters to be released before you bought the pack. A pack of 3 chapters would cost between $5 and $13 approximately
• Entire Book - Wait for the entire book to be released before buying? The entire book (10 chapters) will be about $40

After the entire book has been released, I will probably scrap the first two options and sell it in its entirety (Entire Book only), but I'm interested in what people think of these options for now.

Perhaps you might release them as singles first, then have a package deal when you finish. Kinda like when they have a box DVD set of a trilogy.

I'd rather a complete book. Somehow releasing chapter by chapter gives a feeling of inconsistency...like if you are releasing them while you write them. I know it probably isn't the case, but that's the image it shows...
BTW which is the release date? I am anxious!

PS: The password manager of this forum is a pain in the #@¿! Why should I have capital and minor letters, plus 8 characters, plus some number? Come on, this is a graphics forum, not the Pentagon.

Hi, good to hear that chapter 2 is on its way. I really enjoyed the first iteration.
Being a total n00b I will be buying all chapters and being quite excitable I will be buying them as soon as they are available.

I personally feel that you should offer the whole sh-bang once complete and also on a chapter by chapter basis for those of us that can't wait for the finished article and don't mind donating an extra couple of spondoolies for a good cause.

That's how most tutorials are done these days. And besides, some of the content may not be of use to someone that has been tinkering with Flash for a while. Someone may only find a chapter or 2 useful and then move on. But I'm sure there will be some people that will buy both the chapters and the book when it's released.

  Package deals would be cool in that case. Say for like $15.00, the person gets to pick 3 chapters of their choice?

Yeah but if you put yourself in Adam's shoes and saw the amount of spambots and fake humanoids that have tried to penetrate the Brackenwood construct, you would've done the same.

 It assures Adam more often than not that the people joining are actually human.

I think that you should give free way to us for choose of whole book or only few chapters : )
