flash restore down problem...

i have a problem... my restore down button at the top right hand corner of the screen in flash 8 just makes the whole screen disappear. 

can someone tell me why this is happening and how i can get it to work again???...

You might simply have the window moved in a place which you can't see, like out of the monitor. If that's the case, about all you can do is right-click the icon in the task bar and click MOVE. Your mouse will automatically be moved and set to drag and move the window, so just click and wave the mouse violently until something happens. If that doesn't work, well I'm not too sure.
