Oh I used to be a poet,
I had a rythem and a rhyme
I used to throw out verses
every day, all the time!

But then I heard a song or two
your voice, clear as a bell.
And that was that for all my talents
my creativity has gone to hell.

You took the words out of my mouth
you dragged the thoughts out of my head
you fed them back through my ears again
with every word you said.

I wont lie to you, I love it.
I love the power in your voice,
Florence, you took my breath away.
I never did have any choice.
