aw man, I saw District 9 with 9 of my friends, I got in for free because a friend of mine works at the cinema, but the snacks there came to about £9! hell of a price. Grin

but I want to see 9, sounds good.

2 days for me...gonna watch it after school. I've been anticipating this movie for MONTHS...and I won't let anything prevent me from watching it...oh, for those of you who just want to see it because you saw the name "Tim Burton" in the ad, IT'S NOT A TIM BURTON FILM!! TIM AND TIMUR ARE PRODUCERS, 9 IS SHANE ACKERS BABY...HE MADE THE ORIGINAL SHORT AND HAS NURTURED HIS BABY FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!! now...I'll be off now. toodles  Smiley.

I think we established that in the first topic about 9
but the thought that Tim Burton is backing it up is awesome enough to drive his fans to see it
Just like district 9 was produced by peter jackson i didnt go in expecting king kong or the lord of the rings
actually now that i think about it
9 and district 9
actually have alot in common
both based on an original short
both directed by the creators of the original short
both produced by Hot Shot directors

I keep telling my friend who works at the cinema that, and she still goes on about it like "Oh yea, that movie 9, you know, Tim Burton's new movie..." and if I could get a damn word in edge ways I would yell at her. She talks too much about nothing.

I just saw 9 at 9:09 on 9/9/09.  The movie was less than 99 minutes long.  Sad

Pretty good movie.  Not amazing, but pretty darn good.
