He is not a fantastic animator. He's really pretty average.

And every one of his flashes has bored me.

Yes, he sucks SOO much so that the BBC pay him to create animations REGULARLY for them, which are featured on "Charlie Brooker's Screenwipes", and countless other PAYING clients.

It must hurt to see somebody as "average" as David do what WE ALL hope to be able to do one day!  Wink

I was a big David Firth fan when I was 13 and first discovered Newgrounds, but not really so much anymore. I still think "The child that smelt funny" and the burnt face man series are extremely funny.

Yeah same. Tough I never got the Salad Fingers fad to be honest...
I would agree with the statement that's he's a rather 'mediocre' animator purely from a technical standpoint, but his writing is his stronger point I think.

His Jerry Jackson stuff has been on the BBC, so it's obviously not the animation skill that they're interested. He's just a hilarious writer.
