EMBARRASSING = MARS BARGES IN
FANTASTICALLY = SANCTIFY TALTAL
FANTASTIC = CAN'T I FAST?
(My full name. Do reverse anagrams to find it, maybe? I doubt any of you cares so much.) = So, fecal rheumatism. (You know, that.) Also, it translates to "Mum's other fallacies."
Is there anything positive that will come from an anagram of my name? Sheesh.

This is a minor offense, but for future reference:
No one can truly feel apologetic. If you are kind enough to make a sincere apology, there's be no need for it in the first place.

Is your middle name Micheal? Or something similar? I've not checked to see if it fits, but from a first glance it looks like it might work.

yes, I thought the same! Then last night, after I turned the laptop off and went to bed I realized. But I was already in bed and couldn't be bothered to turn the laptop back on. But hurra! Anagrams are finally proving handy!

To smile is just to bare one's teeth Until there is a reason A laugh is just a spastic breath until it saves a life
The source behind the human heart Even at times like this A hug, a kiss, a handshake, can make anything alright
Yeah, I can hear the music in the laughter of a child There's innocence and radiance emerging from inside And though the future may be just a bleak and bitter truth They're sheltered by the ignorance of youth
When those among us left behind are doing, well, just that The poor surrounded by the rich and wealthy bureaucrats It's easier to say that we've got problems of our own We're pebbles that combine to make a stone
(The beginnings of a song, maybe? I could come back to this, but that's what I say about everything.)

A lone fortress, called Travistown by it's inhabitants, stands in the center of a seemingly endless field of short grass, strategically placed for long visibility. It is situated on the edge of a small river, which is the only source of water. It is absolutely silent for miles around, lifeless and dull. Those inside are the survivors of the epidemic that has destroyed the world as we know it; the zombie apocalypse had begun.
A girl approaches the roughly constructed walls of the fort, accompanied by her loyal canine companion. A sentry calls to her. "Stop where you are. We have a dozen rifles trained onto you." She stops. This is a good sign. "What is your name?" She calls out her name, and the sentries are satisfied that her mind is still intact. If her skin proves to be unscathed by the teeth of the infected, she will be granted entry. "Take off your clothes."
"No. Trust me, I'm human. You just want to see me naked."
"Don't flatter yourself. This is protocol. Take off your clothes." She does so, and the sentries see no signs of zombie bites. "You may enter." She puts her clothes back on and enters the opening gates. The fort is very spacious, having been built upon for nearly ten years. It acts as a makeshift civilization; a city by the post-apocalyptic standards. Around a thousand people lived there, according to rumors. The girl had encountered several people wandering on their own, who had either been shunned from Travistown or had merely heard of it.
(I'm putting way too much detail so far, so I'll tone it down. Don't be fooled; it really was this vivid. That's why I have to write it down.)
She makes friends with several other people that she shares a room with. They tell their stories of the last normal memory they had before the zombies came. One, which was awesome, I will explain: He met a girl at a bar, right as his favorite baseball team lost a game due to bad pitching. He gets into a conversation with her, and explains that he is bad luck for said team. She says that's funny because she's always good luck. He asks what would happen if they both went to a game. She decides they should find out, and slips him her phone number, saying "For the sake of science."
A major onslaught begins that night, and everyone who doesn't have a gun is told to retreat to the basement. The girl, who has no gun, follows the directions, but not before she sees the front line of defense fall. There is a tunnel below the fort that leads somewhere. I don't have time to explain the rest, but I will come back.
*EDIT* Here is the rest:
The tunnel leads to a long abandoned city, one that is supposedly devoid of zombies. When everyone arrives there, it's every man and woman for themselves, but human nature doesn't allow that. Soon cliques are formed, and the girl is grouped with several gentlemen and a lady (all of which are classmates of mine). They scrounge and find guns, food, and a shelter. An empty store, which was apparently a toy store, was our choice of inhabitance. There were broken toys littering the floor and walls, which were all made of concrete. There was a staircase leading to another room constructed from concrete, which was decidedly the bedroom. At this point, I suddenly take perspective of the girl. One of the men and myself is sent up to investigate the room for safety. My partner walks in, glances around, and decides it is safe, even though the light wasn't even turned on. Everyone comes in, tired from the night of tunnel walking and scrounging, and falls asleep. I stay awake, because I see something wriggling in a closet nearby.
I yell, running downstairs, attempting to awaken my group. I do, but I also attract many other zombies. Only three of us make it downstairs, and one looks ill. I ask if she is okay, and she says yes. I examine the skin visible to me, and she looks fine, but she rolls down her sleeves quickly. I pull up the sleeves, and she is bitten. We all start arguing about what to do, and I wake up.
I'm dying to know how the whole thing ends. There must be closure!

That is a damn cool dream. O.O I've had some fairly epic zombie dreams in the past, but I can't recall any now.

Wow, it's all come back to me over the course of the last week or so.
The tunnel under the fort was constructed so that scavengers could go to the city and gather supplies without trekking on the zombie-infested surface. The guns and shelters were there for the gatherers to use, and not just lying around by happenstance. The video store was our choice of habitation because it had already been prepared and outfitted by the gatherers.
There was one scene which I seemed to have forgotten until yesterday. I took the perspective of another person, who was climbing up to a keep where they could fire upon the zombies. One person, seemingly unaware of the invasion, was sitting in a chair with a stern face. My host calls out to him, telling him to get behind the door so they could secure it, but he just shakes his head. My host understands that he has given up hope and is tired of all the struggling, and is simply surrendering. He secures the door.
There are many other fragments and whatnot that I have remembered, but are either completely irrelevant or too short and incomplete to write about.
