I'm looking for some feedback on this short cycling clip.

<a href="http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/4489/crazyjumpmj7.swf" target="_blank">http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/4489/crazyjumpmj7.swf</a>

It's a character jumping up and down, it that wasn't obvious, it's still very rough so yeah, any feedback would be great.

Here's what he looks like for now.

Very nice. For the animation, I'd suggest creating a slight wind effect for when he begins to fall again. For some reason, it looked to me like you just reversed the frames for a little bit. I'm sure you didnt, though. Smiley

Well I am not 100% done with him, but it's fleshed out a lot more. I will be making tweaks and cleaning up some more.

Comments are more than welcome!

I'm no animator but I'll try to give some crits.

I think his arms don't "flow" well enough, the movement on them feels rather constrained. Maybe he should swing his arms behind his body, or stretch his arms completely.
The part where he comes up to jump is too smooth and takes too long I think, I think you could cut off a few frames there. This also gives the impression that there isn't enough anticipation before the jump I think.
Since he has such a long neck, how about delaying the head a bit when he's coming down?
Maybe he should bend his legs even further (not sure).

I do need to loosen up with him, I haven't done a fbf clip in at least a year, so i see what you're saying, I will be making some changes and hopefully i can make him work better.

Thanks for the comments!

his waist is detached on frame 8 I think.. and I really noticed it. so maybe you want to fix that. also I think he gave himself head or something lol.
I like the animation though nice and fluid ^^
