An 18+ animation by Moscow-based animator Rex Tarazaurus... "Astarta's Dance"

<a href="http://www.tarazaurus.com/astarta/embed.swf" target="_blank">http://www.tarazaurus.com/astarta/embed.swf</a>

The director says:
Quote
Hello everyone Wink Here is my first attempt of creating an animation on my own , I`ve been working on it during the last two years, in my spare time, mostly for educational perposes. Being pretty much inspired by the mood of TOOL i dedicate this video to their music.
The story tells about the encounter of two ancient world characters - Assyrian gods Astarta, the goddess of sensual love & fertility and serpent -guardian Ngishzid, meet in miraculous choreographic dance. The composition and the sense of the rhythm are based on frescos characteristic for ancient Mediterranean and middle east where it was a prevalent ritual to appeal to gods through the dances of priestesses. Astarta's Dance is delicately depicted in the style of Mannerism, known for deliberate distortion of characters proportions to accentuate characters and scenes features. The symbolic representation of sexsual act told through the language of choreography was inspired by the scandalous ballet by Vatslav Nezinski -"fauns nooning".

AMAZING film animated with India ink, from the director of "Sleeping Betty" (if you've seen that).

"From the Big Bang to Tuesday Morning"
http://www.nfb.ca/film/from_big_bang_to_tuesday_morning/

I love how alive his creatures feel. With their whiskers and expressive eyes. Just love it! And I love the humour in this film too, because it's never forced - but just the way Cloutier draws something is enough to make me laugh.

And is it just me, or did this film anticipate the "anonymous" logo?

EDIT: @Markham, pretty good. He especially got the characters of the higher-ups spot-on. I have to say that the film is profoundly depressing, though, all the more so because it's outwardly happy and upbeat. Were the music and orchestration done by the Richard Williams???
