It's been a while since I did a traditional painting. I had fun drawing this one, mostly because I love gas masks I guess. There's no real story behind the title. I just wanted to add some kind of contrast. It's sad that cameras screw things up a bit but it almost looks equally good in the photo as in real life. Done with acrylic paints.

That's mainly because back then I hadn't found myself. But now I have. Back then I thought I wanted to do animation and cartoony stuff. Today I know that I want to do more realistic stuff for games and movies. Such as the people at massive black (big inspiration).

I can see why, that's some kick ass artwork there. I get my inspiration from Adam Phillips[unintentional ass kissing ] and Chris Voigt. Both completely different styles but still they are effective and well structured.

Kata; thanks a lot! Here's a perspective practice I sketched out. But I thought it'd look dull without anything else to it so I added a troll "Mommy, where do storm clouds come from?" Anyway, I'll try to post more interesting stuff in the future.

Portrait of myself. The title has to do with this whole sickness pandemic that's going on. Swine flu all over the place.
