I think they look great. I guess the only thing critique-wise I could say is that a few fingers don't seem to have the upper joint on them, but for the most part you accentuated this perfectly fine. I like the "hard pose", it's really dynamic  Smiley

Commission for my brother. He wanted a close up for a maple story character of his.

I need to work with the skin tone a bit. Else that I'm happy with it.

I tried to record my progress but the program decided to be mean so.. yeah, better luck next time.

Looking back at this now, I don't really like it.

A giant I did for the "War of the Giants" project. Read more about it here: [link] Join the fun!

I'm (obviously) on the side of evil. So here's a contribution to the project.

I'm not quite sure if I like this design or not but it was an interesting process. Still practicing with the coloring, I've never colored with overlay.

The sketching part was most fun!

Improving nicely dude!
Values are getting better, color is a bit plain, but I wouldn't worry too much about that at this point, it's still sufficient. Just focus on strucure and form modeling, along with perspective and anatomy.
Perhaps do some quick abstract composition studies. You can learn allot from those about composition.

Thanks.
Yes I'm focusing mainly on anatomy and such at the moment. Got a nice book, big as a bible.
I just got so damn tired of studying all the time so I had to paint something fun.
