well I got a draft panel done for the poem
If you've been waiting sorry for the delay between all of my ventures I am trying to split up time efficiently.
Any way here is the style I had in mind if you dont like it let me know  Cool.

Edit:
No reply and so to avoid double posting im editing into this.

I felt like writing a poem so why not just do it here.

You took it in and let it stay
You harbored it and lit its way
You showed it love and gave it care
You gave it life your heart you shared
Now its fading growing weak
Its life deterred small and meek
We work to make it live
Mistakes we can't forgive
This is where roads split
Pain I cant forget
We share days last
Recall days past
Taken down
Let it drown
its gone
move on
Love
Hurts

8,8,8,8,7,7,6,6,5,5,4,4,3,3,2,2,1,1
noticed the decreasing numbers about halfway and thought why not continue the trend.

Both the poem and the awesome illustrations made me smile. Well, the poem's content wasn't really what made me smile, it was more the consistency in the format. I'm a geek.
