Hey! Some random clippings from my sketchbook, which is best experienced IRL, because there's all sorts of notes and fold-outs and collages etc...
Hope you like these though!

Beautiful, unusual stuff as always.  Smiley  The style of the carrot-page reminds me a little of Yellow Submarine.  I really like the collages.

I'm really curious how you would artistically distort the human form if you brushed up more on anatomy.   I say this because while your humans are interesting, they're a little on the primitive side, especially compared with your more surreal cartoonish stuff.  I think you'd be able to do a lot more with humans in your own thought process and style if you did some traditional studies on the side.  I say this only with the deepest compassion for your art; I love the way you draw, and I'd like to see you develop in a balanced sort of way.  I see that the bottom picture in the sequence looks like a gesture drawing - my advice would be to keep trying some things in that direction.

Thanks again for kind words; that's something I've been wanting to do, but have been too lazy & stuck in my comfort zone...  Lately however, I've started to make some further studies on anatomy + more gesture/life drawing. So yeah, I'm trying to find new ways to surprise myself and all you sweetcheeks out there.  Tongue

That definitely reminds me of something I would see in a South Park episode! Witty, informative about your opinion and still makes fun of pop culture in the end. Well done!

Your work is incredible. Put up a blog, do one of those comics a week, run adsense, sell the occasional tshirt or print. The site will be paying for itself within 6 months and paying you a regular salary within 12.

That doesn't sound like the worst idea...
I'm slightly skeptical as to whether it'd be as easy as you just made it sound, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. I've some screenplay ideas in my head that I could start fleshing out, create characters/storylines and see where it ends up.

Earning money wouldn't hurt, especially now that I'm trying to get into uni this year (bachelor degree in traditional animation, no less!) as tuition fees are quite bothersome. :/

Thanks a lot though!! Smiley

As long as you update regularly and as frequently as possible (once a week) I'm confident you'll generate your own following of loyal fans. The benefits of having a well known property with your name on it extend beyond simply having fans though, as you can sell merchandise and sooner or later you start getting work offers. It's maintaining that frequency of output that's the hard part, especially when/if you start saying yes to some of those offers.

Drawings of friends:

OK, so as far as the comic goes, I'm currently writing it as a graphic novel (1/4 done, including rough outlines)... It'll be an anthology piece with several different thematically overlapping stories that I plan to publish online in serialized form (x times a week). It's pretty crap, but I'm enjoying it. Smiley

After I'm done writing half, I'll start drawing... No idea when it all is happening though, I have a truckload of exams coming up soon & there's summer to attend to & universities to try out! Crazy life.
