I've been reading about learning sarus lately, but really I'm a little more interested in how it fits into music form. For instance, I know that the syllables can be replaced with musical notes, but how would one know where one word began and another ended?

read it and if you still have questions, I could help you develop your own ideas on how to use it.
What I do is follow this image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SolresolFarben.png if you know how to read music you know where each goes. I just replace Sol with So.

Thank you, I've been fooling aorund with an idea that maybe (since I like to make music but suck at thinking of melodies) I could think up a small message and translate that into my melody, and it seems to have worked pretty well since I just tried out the sentence, "Reruhm dom laruhl dor" so I think I'm gonna keep up with it. That said, you might be seeing me around a lot more often. Wink
