That SUCKS!
Especially since it's a Bethesda game. The Fallout series has always been amazing.

Apparently the majority of the time companies will edit the game to not have to deal with Australia's censorship board. So Fallout may see the Australian sun yet! Not the full thing... I say we pool money and get a copy for Adam!

I hate how governments can't treat their citizens like adults. It's worse when those governments are supposedly run by their own people. Hurts me brain.

I say that too. I'm with you JiggMaster! The uproar from GTA 4 and Fallout 3 will almost certainly go towards getting our antiquated game censorship laws updated. Things never get done without people kicking up a stink, so let's put our stink-kicking boots on.

Can't wait to hear what Yahtzee has to say about this in Zero Punctuation (the only Escapist thing i pay attention to0.
If all else fails, Adam, go to GAME TRADERS ROBINA. That's where Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw gets all his bootlegged games, but then I don't know what area of Australia either of you live in... =(
EDIT: Hang on folks, It's in Robina, Queensland. Huh, who'd have guessed?
It's in the Robina Town Center mall, but if you're not in the area that would be a little far to travel especially if your gas prices are anything like the ones in the US...

This is stupid, the original games allowed you to commit infanticide, partake in spousal abuse, massacre whole villages, get raped by super mutants, become a porn star AND get addicted to drugs. It seems like a stupid double standard. But then again I suppose we don't want to encourage children to take drugs after a nuclear apocalypse to enhance their ability to kill the 2-headed brahman, that would obviously be irresponsible.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!! I JUST CRAPPED IN MY PANTS!!! OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO! Now I will never taste Fallout 3 in its glorious glory. I played and finished both 1 and 2... They were the best, most gruesome games of their time. I am a sad sad dissapointed man who now has a hate for Australia, a deep deep unpatriotic hate.

I think I should make a game that teaches you how to acquire, shoot, mix, grow, smoke, drink. And do almost every step on how to make drugs, distribute and take them. Then release it for free amoungst the whole community through diskette hand outs and flash games. Just as my movement against the laws.

Understandable... to a point. A lot of games in the US and Europe are filled with violence that many would believe isn't right to show to their kids or families. I think that the total censoring of the game sucks though.
