I'm hoping this becomes a trend.  It's nice seeing some decent 2d animation in console games.  Realistic 3d graphics are nice and all, but they really don't need to be used for everything.

I second that, I think it looks fantastic. The 2D animation gives it a more personal and unique feeling.

That looks brilliant!!

It doesn't look like a typical 16bit 2D platformer either, but more so a very "new" looking game becuas eof the super sleek animation. I m loving this new cartoon esque direction. This could be my first Wario game Smiley

Finally we get some 2d back into gaming, and on the wii no less!  Hopefully tiring your arms from shaking won't stop you from drawing  Tongue
