Hi

My name is Alex.
I am 26 years old. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark and I have several years og self-taught experience behind me, including animation, concept drawings and 8+ years of experience with Flash. I am as well skilled in sound effects, using Soundforge and can make music too using Reason and Cubase.

I got this MIDI keyboard http://www.arbiter.co.uk/cme/products/uf_series/images/uf7.jpg to create any tunes you can imagine: funny, sad, ambient, spooky - you name it

I have this Microphone http://www.headphonepia.com/image/goods/USB1000a_med1.jpg
and I can do some voiceacting too.

I have this Drawing Tablet (costed quite a fortune) http://www.manoogian.net/blog/blogx/images/articles/cintiq_21.jpg
and can sketch, color and draw very fast.

Reason I create this topic is because I want to do anything to get away from ordinary, "realistic" crappy jobs and really put my full energy into doing my passion.

WE

We make contracts, establish some sort of workshop and MAKE LIVING DOING WHAT WE LOVE. I ain't got big cash to pay anyone, but the perfect way to do this is to agree to do all the work for free, and when we finally can make a profit, we split it amongst us. All the specific info is ofcourse in the contracts.

ME

I am not affraid to leave my country and move another place to work and live, as long as I work with what I love. If I have to, I can find some temporary ordinary job while there is no profit

YOU

About you: You must feel the same way as me and have a big desire to do the creative work. You must be 18+ years old, and have some good experience with drawing.

HOW?

We make profit by creating web animation series of some sort. Merchandise, traffic, DVD's etc... Here you can read some of the possibilities how to get cash out of it. http://www.calicomonkey.com/blog/how-to-make-a-living-creating-cartoons.php

INTERRESTED?

Write me an email at toonhaze@gmail.com and tell me what you can do, what you want to do and how.

Welcome to the forums, Aleq!

I'd advice you to check the www.animationforum.net boards as well.
You might find more professional animators over there looking for people to collaborate with.

But do stick around and if you have any of your work to show off, I'm sure that Brackenwood would be happy to give them a look. Tongue

Cheers!
