Is there one and if there's not could someone make one? I am not skilled at all at pc artwork and I don't have the tools to attempt, but I think that it would be REALLY useful if there was a tool that we could download or whatever and type in the syllables and it would create the glyph. This would be a lot easier to learn how to write the actual glyphs and familiarize myself with the meanings.

That's a nice idea. The word of the day is probably the closest thing to this that you will get to right now. You might have to wait a bit before your idea becomes a reality, if any one actually even takes the initiative to do it.

O ye of little faith
I loled. I just didn't think it would be that quick I thought maybe a week or so would be about the time it would get done. Any way, nice job, it's pretty cool I must say. Would be pretty cool also to integrate some sounds in there too. I wish I was proficient in Action Script right about now.

Also I did this today.Currently all 1- and 2-syllable words, about ten 3-syllable words, and one 4-syllable word. Edit: except m, because I don't know what it is.

It might take a while to put all 1000+ words into the dictionary that the translator uses.

It might take a while to put all 1000+ words into the dictionary that the translator uses. this XML file might help.. the translator uses it Unfortunately it's also 5 yrs old now and only covers the 3-syllables. It also needs some definitions updated as well as plurals, numbers and other 4-sylls.

Ah, cheers. I guess it'll depend on how much Sarus has changed as to whether it's worth the time to convert it. Do you happen to have a copy of the v2 dictionary that isn't in a FlashPaper format? Although it is possible to search for specific sarus words, it would help if they were in order. Edit: three more things: 1) What does m translate to? 2) In the v2 dictionary, ffs and rrld both translate to ask. 3) 270 words and counting! Edit again: And tf and mssf both translate to barely. lff and ss lt both translate to could.

I'll dig up the 525 backup on my old computer. It's got all the original word and excel docs that have the complete dictionary and some other stuff. As I recall there are one or two little contradictions or doubled-up definitions like the 'ask' one.

Wow Jaehl! That glyph maker is sweet I hope you don't mind if I add it to the Ultimate Toolkit sticky? It may not have every glyph combination possible, but it's an excellent resource nonetheless! An up to date translator would be awesome as well. The Toolkit has an older one that's likely out of date.
