Sir Justyn Webbe
A good (and very huge, scary) friend of mine has asked me to come up with a few drawings and designs for his website.
I've done a couple but I feel bad because it's taken me a while to get them to him. So, as he's one hell of a larger-than-life character, I wonder if anyone here would like to attempt some drawings.

This isn't a competition, contract or a paid job and there's no rush. It's just a kind of interesting activity for anyone who happens to be inspired by the guy. I think what he does is awesome.. he's quite well-known in medieval circles and I'd love to see it in action some day. Anyway, he would get a huge buzz if I email him one day and say 'hey dude, check out this thread' with a link to all the sketches and images here.

I will post a few of mine here soon and if you post some of your own sketches, paintings or designs here, please include a message stating whether or not it's OK for him to use it on his site.

Sir Justyn is a 14th Century Knight, crafting his own authentic medieval armour and weaponry, and fighting in exhibition tournaments and medieval battle re-enactments.
You can find all the inspiration you need in his image galleries and his weapons/armor gallery.

yes, yes I will. He looks awsome to draw. plus I (or some one else) has to attempt to draw him in real medievil drawing style for example http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/96/Bayeux_Tapestry_WillelmDux.jpg/350px-Bayeux_Tapestry_WillelmDux.jpg

oO0oh! Very nice.. something completely unique and very illustrative. I like the attention you've paid to the armour and tabard too. I don't know how you did the chain mail but it looks awesome.

I love Medieval themes. I'm definitely giving this a shot as soon as I get some time away from school work.

Those are some really stylish designs so far, love the realistic lighting in yours Katatafisch.
