But really, it's only because of the movies that everyone hates Twilight and beyond. Remember how popular it was before the movies were released? Seriously, it's just like Chuck Norris. A few people express their opinions about it on the internet, and suddenly every feels like they have to be modeled EXACTLY like them or else they won't be accepted. Have any of you actually read the series? And don't say "only the first few pages, it was just too bad," because you know that I'll just beat down on you for it being your own fault for being impatient.

I wanted to read it, just to form my own opinion, but Rose forbid me from it on pain of serious bodily harm. I've had several people give me a general synopsis, and I've read and watched many many reviews. I've also never watched the movie. I'm not spending my scant cash on that shizz.
Some of my main biases against:
I like Anne Rice and the more classical, less retarded ideology behind vampires.
My disgusting ex-boyfriend likes Twilight, and met the horse-faced rodent he cheated on me with on his "Edward Cullen" bebo account. Which is just sad. Why would he even have one? That isn't normal.
Twilight fanatics are scary, scary people. Just look up nuttymaddam on youtube if you need proof. It's only the extreme cases, but there are far more extreme cases of Twilight fanatics then of may other things. Hell, they get so crazy they chased Robert Pattinson into a road.
My sources indicate that the grammar is dreadful, the descriptions extensive and the plot loose and rambling.
Bella Swan = Stephanie Meyer.
Twilight = Stephanie's secret dirty little fantasy.
Even Pattinson doesn't like Twilight.
VAMPIRES SHOULD NOT SPARKLE.
There are more, but I can't be arsed.
