Deadline
May 1st

This week's topic is "Destiny: Super Cruiser"

For the next week and a half. I want you to design a super sized life saving vessel, meant to rescue humanity from whatever disaster earth is undergoing. be it 2012 or a world shattering alien attack etc...
your assignment is too create the ship, Destiny..
this is the ship that will go down in history as the salvation to humanity's ultimate struggle for survival...
You might think that your only limited to future designs and space travel, but if you want.. you can always do steampunk or some other ship that will save people from a volcano (damn you Eyjafjallajökull)or a even a flood!

As long as the ship is unique in both design and size, from the other armada of ships related to your "created universe" (optional) you'll get your piece into the poll thread.

The picture format can maximum be 1000x1000.
When the deadline is over a vote will be raised, for you to vote for your favorite entry. I'm not the judge here, everyone is.
CLEARLY DESIGNATE YOUR FINAL, in order for us to put the right piece in the vote thread.
Please save your entry as, for example. "yourname_wda54.jpg".
Don't use old drawings and use more then 15 minutes on the picture  Grin

Have a lot of fun with this topic, enjoy!

I'd love to give this one a shot, but I think creating a unique ship of my own might be beyond my skill level  =Ž

I too know I lack the ability for this here topic (or any topic for that matter) but I will throw my hand in for poops and cackles.
I do hope that some of the more experienced members join in this could prove most fruitful if they do so.
Espen do you intend on entering the competition if so I can't wait to see some of your work.

Come on, challenge yourself.. i sure did, this is my 4th spaceship design ever.. its definitely not something im good at. But if you want to get better, all you have to do is try. Then try some more Tongue and run trough that big ass mental brick wall called, frustration.

1st picture: Destiny in super flight
2nd picture: Destiny in battle mode. It has expanded the arsenal wings, which is idle in the super flight image.

Here is my humble attempt of a shot
Great work Espen!
The lens flares unfortunately remind me of Star Trek (not saying its a bad movie only that all of those lens flares have polluted my mind.)

!sweet entries guys. I imagined a huge ship like that would be designed in a really boring but effective way for saving money and the use of space.
One of the first who got to build something like that could be.....Apple maybe? =P
