How do people do knife fighting professionally? Do you wear protection like fencing or what?

I think they use rubber knives.

As Markham said, Eli Phillips is my nephew (my brother's son). He was recorded at the age of about 4 or 5 for Bingbong but he's almost 11 now and a talented violinist.

Sorry to call you out on this Adam, but he's not almost 11. He's almost 9.

He could have done the recordings in advance.

Congratz Adam! But why do you need a personal trainer? You could just do the very basic stuff like push ups and what not. Its what I do anyway but except that I also practice parkour , acroatics and capoeira. Do you get that positive feeling of high morale agter a work out ? Its really cool

Congratz Adam! But why do you need a personal trainer?

That's what I keep telling myself. Why would I need someone to help me exercise when I can do it by myself ?
And I guess the answer to that question basically is motivation... and it's better to work out with someone than alone.
Everytime I try to work out, I do it for a few days, but then I get lazy. I have a big motivation problem I guess :/
But I'm lazy too.

True alex. Motivation is one good reason to sign up with a personal trainer. The main reason for me is the specialist guidance. Personal training is a tailored programme to help you get the best results quickly.
The trainer himself has degrees in Exercise Physiology and has personally trained Andy Roddick and Mark Bryant. Sure I know how to skip, stretch, do pushups, chinups, run and lift weights but the gym is a dedicated training area with professional fitness equipment conducive to working out. My backyard isn't. If I was training at home, there would be smashed plants and frightened animals all over the place.

Then there's the simple fact that going to the gym is a trip out of the house (20 min walk to the gym). Something that for me was, up until recently, very rare.

I used to think of you as really cool and sort of a hero. Now I see you as an amazing fantasy that is going to be hella hard to live up to! I thought you were an average city bloke who liked drawing, not a knife fighting, Jackie Chan loving, now better than Disney animator! Not to mention a dad! I get told life is short, but you seem to of done a fair bit in your short time on this planet.

Somebody needs to make a movie about you and Jackie Chan staring!
