Do Not Think of What it Is You Eat . . .But of Who

« on: October 02, 2008, 10:36:52 AM »

Dear Observers,
Here it is, as always criticisms are all appreciated, Just know that I wasn't really aiming for perfection.
You should probably know that I don't really pay attention to proportions, I just do what looks best for the character.

A thief tailed jack-jack named Poe and Mr. Foofoo

Kristalee Triston, the girl with the poorly drawn left hand.

I have quite a few of drawings, if you guys like them and such, I'll put up several pictures whenever I can get them on my computer.

p.s. Hope You Like Them

Wow <3 Those are really good, Mr. Foofoo is absolutely adorable <3 and I also love the detail each one has got. I wonder if you also know how to mix in colors? =O that would make them shine even more.

a 100/10 <3 xD

DAY TWO AGAIN.
I felt that it would be too long of time to await all of these, day by day. In order to remedy all this, I've decided to put more today.
I'm afraid I am just to impatient, so I'll probably just send more everytime I feel like it. ^_^

A Broken heart with two assistants.

Innocence Stricken.

I have no idea what the hell this thing is.

First Sketch for Contortionists.

There You Go, hope you like. More Tomorrow.

DAY er . . . FIVE,
I found a few more  Grin

What I get when I add fake blood and a crappy scanner.

What can I say? I love big exaggerated hats.

I swear that her face looks not dreadful in person.

Time for some computer drawings. Some were made in Flash 8, some were obviously NOT made in Flash 8.

I call it "Oblivious with a largely over sized nail hurdled through your stomach"

aaaw, This one brings back memories. This is Frankenbunny he was my VERY first animated short (that I made using only Paint and Windows movie maker *ew*). This is the undead animal corpse that started it all. *romantic sigh*

Patches, also sentimental because she was the first thing I drew in Flash.

First teaser poster.
Thandinann the Candy Man
Tomtum, the spider-boy of chewing gum.
First draft of Li'l Jimmy

This is the very first drawing of Minty Morticia Migoo, her head has gotten a huge redesign that I haven't been able to draw yet.

That all for now
p.s.

Dear Observers,
I found some more pics I felt like impulsively sharing, here they are. Some of them a very old so I have improved since then but some constructive criticism is always welcome.

Pied Piper design, possible upcoming project.

Misc. Flash Character Design #109

Some thing I drew, it's a silly pen-sketch with a form of shading I don't usually use - so bear with me here.

VERY sloppy Minty designs in progress

After looking at these from beginning to end, I notice that you're technique is getting progressively better.  I like your style, too.  Keep it up dude.

I like your freaky style.
Like Espen said, you should practice anatomy and such. It will make your characters sort of pop out more, they are slightly flat right now.
Keep on drawing, looking forward for more!

Perhaps work a bit on your color choices and lighting. Best way to do this is to pop in a movie and study the way the colors and lighting work because they usually have well tought out lighting. Just paying attention to the world around you is also a good way ofcourse.
