I have to ask this question. I've been thinking about it ever since I joined the forum.
Every so often there will come a mysterious figure that chooses not to be seen. At the bottom of the Forum home page it'll list this mysterious figure as '1 Hidden'. And, as it so happens, Adam tends to post things whenever our mystery guest is online. So I've come to the conclusion that any time I see 1 Hidden, it's Adam logged in (because let's be honest, who puts there settings to not display themselves online? I'm...let's say
fairly confident no one else does).
So this leads me to the question: since it's such a dead giveaway, is there a benefit of 'pseudo-hiding' from the general Brackenwood public? I mean, I assume when you become a mod this setting changes and the mystery guest turns into Chluaid. But is there some added catch I'm not seeing that makes it beneficial to not let us know (even though we know..) that you're online?
Maybe the answer to my question is privileged information that us lesser Brackenwoodian's aren't entitled to hear?
