Hey guys, I know most of you probably havent heard of me at all but Ive been a Bitey member for a while. Anyhoo, I finally got my act together and am now studying animation at GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY....*yay*. Well, for my second animation assignment, I came up with this. We were only "required" to animate a 30 second clip to music but I went a little overboard. Hope you guys enjoy and I would love to hear some feedback. Thanks and Enjoy XD

HELL YES!!!

That was just awesome man. I loved the simplicity of the design elements, but you were able to convey so much emotion still. Excellent work man, I am impressed not only with your animation ability, but also with your storytelling and pacing abilities as well.

Hope to see more from you soon!  Bigfoot

I enjoyed it very much as well. In fact I was blown away by the beginning. The simplicity is irrelevant because the emotion is so captivating (the music really helps), so great job on that aspect.

However...
There's one thing I felt negatively about while watching this animation. It felt like you personified the bee too much, just to clarify emotion for your viewers sake. And it detracted from the enjoyment for me. I didn't want to see the bee smile, or frown, or get an angry determined look on his face at the end there. I really, really wanted the music and the scene to depict the emotion for the bee, not his facial expressions. I think there could be a substantial improvement if those didn't exist in the film, leave it a little more open-ended for the viewer to interpret.

Great job on the animation though, as TheAllSeeingEYE said, the storytelling and pacing were superb.
