I see your light source in the animation is from the left. It took me a bit to find the shadow. I think it gets lost within the smoke because it blends in too well with it. Maybe lighten up the shadow? Afterall, it is an explosion which produces some light from its core.

yeah i agree with you pieter! i thought about that too, but ps has not many options for the timing ^^
and brett, youre right with the shadow, plus i didnt do the shadows in the last frames, coz it wouldve been too mcuh work XD im so lazy but youre right, i could also get rid of the shadow somehow

I like how the eye is lead from the bottom left figure to the one with the outstretched arm and finally to the blue encased figure. One thing I have to say it that that guys arm looks huge. It's going away from the viewer yet the hand is almost as big as the head. I would play around with the foreshortening a little more. Also while your playing with that try and make his reaching more energetic. Can't wait to see the finish.

I would go a little more orangy/yellowy/sandy colour with the rocks and stuff, lower the saturation. It will make the blue stand out more.
