Wow Max, great concept!  I really like a lot of stuff you come up with.

I know you said you weren't going to change this image or anything, but, what I would do is bring a little more contrast with the foreground pool with the berg behind it.  It doesn't even need that much more contrast but just a subtle difference can really bring out some details.

Also, I noticed the perspective of the sled compared to the beast.  It's off just a smidge, as if he were turning and the sled is fixed in the direction it is going.  Dunno if you planned it that way or not, though.

Otherwise, Fantastisch!

haha thanks alot man! yeah i totally see what you mean with the contrasts...its flat, some more sky perspective would helped too...
thanks for mentioning it man! nah i dont think ill work on it more, im really exhausted atm, idk why xD
the sled, i agree...i didnt even think of making it in the right perspective  Embarrassed
shame on me...i added it coz i thought it was fun...kinda rushed through the whole painting as such...
again thanks for dropping the crits man! if i want ill go back and try some more changes one day, but ill make sure i watch out for these things on future paintings Wink

awesome collab doodling!! Cheesy is that a paint over on a real chimp face, because the hair and the details around the lips kinda give it away. awesome nonetheless..

yeah youre totally right about the ice painting, i may do another one soon concerning those crits(even bought a book with ice photography Tongue)


im sorry ive been so inactive the last few weeks, lots of stuff has been happening in my private life and i finally took some vacation to get the mind free
no pc art though and im too lazy to scan in all the studies i did, not even the scetchbook ones ^^ theyre mostly really quick and sometimes even with my left hand, so it may be unspectacular for you guys to see them, i may scan some of the pages in soon though, but i cant promise, coz i have quite some other stuff to do meanwhile...

however, i found some time to make a little test painting. im studying light alot atm, more the physics of it, not so much care for rendering or stuff, but the most basic you can go when it comes to lightning and color xD
still a long way to go for me, anyways to show you im not totally standing still ill post that small test Tongue
