I'm currently enrolled at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fl.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of or even attended school there? I personally am enrolled for 3d animation and game art, but they do offer digital art & media as well as web design, game development, and graphic design.

I know that Adam worked for Disney, and apparently a lot of students are hired by such companies as Universal, Nickelodeon, and Disney.

I guess what I'm asking is, ever heard of the school. If so what do you think, and do you think their program is sufficient for the real world industry?

I've heard of it. It looks really good for anyone going into the video-game/music/film/video industry. I'm applying there this year, but I don't plan on going to college, so I'm not expecting to go even if I get accepted.

It's an awesome school, though. I think Espen was interested in it a while back. You should talk to him.

I just got back from SIGGRAPH and I met a bunch of Fullsail grads.  They were very tepid about the program - one said he should have just taken the extra debt and gone Ringling.  Speaking as someone who is (nearly) graduated from a similarly underwhelming program, college is what you make of it.  Even though my program had significant problems, there were a couple of very gifted teachers that I latched onto like a tick and I feel I got my money's worth because of them.

Animation is a VERY expensive major, and you need to pay a lot of money to go to a school that most of the graduates will have glowing reviews of.  If Fullsail is in your budget, look for the teachers that will make the school worth your while.
