This might belong in code but it really pertains to animation far more.
I was wondering if anyone knew any basic commands in after effects? if so could you
give me a quick tip or two as I would love to know something about it.

Heya man, when you say commands do you mean shortcut keys or actual code for expressions?

What kind of animation are you trying to achieve?

Actual code for expressions.

Right now I'm not exactly looking to acheive any style or type of animation only trying to gauge what I can do with it .

Ahh I see, I dont know too much about those, I know the basic sort of workflow and things like pre composing, linking layers, the pick whip thing. Stuff like that, so i prolly can't help much.

If you do some searching there seems to be a bit of info out there. It'd be good if they had a little contents of all the different expressions like good ol flash had for AS 2.
