I've no money and the free version only holds my fickle attention for so long.
But what a game it is.

Mincraft is a very open ended game.  It doesnt have a plot, or an objective, other than stay alive.  During the day, you are in a world inhabited with cows, chickens, and various plant life.  You harvest wood and stone to build houses or walls or mineshafts, whatever you like.  By night, zombies, skeletons, and giant bugs appear to chase you down.  You need to build your fortifications strong enough to withstand them.

There are also rp servers and severs on peaceful mode so all you do is build some epic towns.

The whole purpose isn't survival, though. There are so many things you can do in this game, I couldn't even describe them to you. What I'm doing right now, though, is making a bunch of cactus farms.

I don't really know what to do with it all. I have five large chests full of cactus and no way to use it. :1

The unforeseen benefits of having a massive cactus farm are:

-Not only the cactus with which to protect yourself, but the protection from the farm itself.

-The drops from the mobs that fall in.

-Uh... it looks cool, too, I guess.
