I had a Dungeons and Dragons game the day after it was released. But the dude who owned the gane store rang me and told me not to bother coming, he rang around to everyone and this conversation seemed to be common.
'Hey man, games on at 5, sooo, an hours time'
'I just fell asleep an hour ago'
'Cataclysm?'
'Yep'

I was considering resubscribing for a single month just to see the new content, but thanks for reminding me about login queues, which in turn reminded me of "scheduled maintenance" which happens mid-week at peak times. Yeah screw going through all that again.

Well depends on the servers I checked somewhere and apparently only about 10ish servers had login queues. 1 of course had to be Frostmourne. But the queue is a lot shorter now for whatever reason and a lot faster to get through so I'm happy.
Worgen's are fun.

I resubscribed to WoW just to see the new content. My server doesn't have login queues, and the new content is a pretty refreshing addition to the game, I'm glad I got to experience it. Quests were incredibly plain before, but some of these new ones had me slackjawed over the epicness, and literally laughing out loud for most of the humor (including a fucking HILARIOUS quest chain in the badlands. Horde side, I imagine there's an Alliance equivalent). Basically a few drunk guys tell you their version of 'how they owned Deathwing when he came flying over.' So ridiculous, lol. They keep trying to top each other. I can't say any more, you've gotta do those quests.

Cataclysm got me back into World of Warcraft after a 5 year hiatus. I'm not sure if I should be happy about that or not.

I'm playing on the Earthen Ring server. I even still got my old characters! Turns out Blizzard doesn't erase old accounts.

I've been going strong with WoW for the past 5 years now, and I have to say that Cataclysm is perhaps the best thing that has happened to WoW in a long long time. While the dungeons may be harder, they make sure that the players are actually paying attention and have to once again use some of the more forgotten spells in their books, such as their stuns, sheeps, and other forms of crowd control. The new talent trees that came out a while before the expansion launched are also quite refreshing, giving players better spells at lower levels, and finally locking them into a specific spec to ensure they can do their jobs, unlike the days of yester-year where people were putting one point into every first tier talent in every spec, and thus making them useless. I didn't particularly like the changes to healing, however I see the need for the changes that Blizzard put into effect, and as I've kept healing on my shaman, I find that its not too difficult, and just takes more attention than it previously did. Overall I'm rather happy with the changes that Blizzard implemented, even if I can't really stand to do heroics at the moment, since the PuG's I've been in are getting destroyed by trash, however as time goes on people will get the hang of it, and eventually they'll be blasting through them quickly, like they were in Wrath.

Muradin is my realm of choice.
