So Crytek/EA announced that their pride and joy Crysis 2 has been leaked and the leak was an early build.
They announced their dissapointment in PC piracy but last I checked if a dev build is leaked doesn't it mean a developer leaked it?

Or an over excited hacker. But chances are it has already been touched by the whole team, marketing, publishers, developers, bete testers, they could have even already given test copy's to reviewer's. So I'm not sure.

But the real question is does anyone have any links for a leak of the Brackenwood game Tongue

I downloaded the multiplay demo of steam today. Just curious how the game with 'teh best graphix evurr' would play -- I never played Crysis.
It's okay... kinda fun, but nothing special eiter. The movement is slightly clunky, but the feel is definatly there.
The renderer seems to make everything look very clinical and lifeless... don't know why, perhaps it has to do with their new monochrome deferred lighting specularity model, or the absence of color in the texture palette. It reminded me a bit of the Unreal Dev Kit builds with the UT3 demo -- similair post processing. Though the precomputed global illumination, more exotic materials and color grading make that one seem much more vibrant to me -- also ran much smoother out of the box.
Also LOTS of pop in, I'dd think they'dd need that amount of culling in a dense forest scene, but watching suitcases and chairs vaporise into view is pretty weird looking.

I'm saving up for Duke anyway... somehow no gamer can afford to not buy it haha  Tongue
