Yup, unless you have a static IP address. You can use somewhere like DynDns to get a domain name that points to a dynamic IP though. |

Yeah, since I hosted for a week and a bit permanently and I think only once someone joined when I wasn't home/awake it's only up most of the time. When you say Static IP you mean when you set your internal IP to static for portforwarding etc. or do you have to do it differently for the external IP? |

Static IPs mean asking your ISP to give you an IP address that never changes. It costs extra though, so most people don't bother.

I signed up and set it up at controlshiftawesome.dyndns.tv with my external IP atm and when I try to connect via domain name I get failed to connect unknown host "controlshiftawesome.dyndns.tv" Have I done something wrong? NVM it works  |
