Person 1: - They would have had to have been genetically created - cells to organisms and bla bla bla as well. Duh, else they wouldn't exsist. Their body structure would be uber different as it would be designed for different atmospheres and shit, so there is a defined difference right there. They would have evolved and civilised and shit too. Now theres a huge difference- I'm referrign to the civilised part. When people say "I would like it if you were civilised!!" That generally means I'd like it if you just talked and didn't carry on like a spastic, when you put this into the equation of wars and nuclear bombings etc etc, the human race, not specific colonies, but the entire human race in general are certainly not civilised. And so, we have launched people to the moon, and sent a little ship to Mars. When you put that in contrast with the fact they would have hypothetically visited Earth from another Solar system they obviously don't bomb the shit out of each other and ARE civilised, hence I will say it again, they would not see a point to Zap us to shit. Evidently, the distance they travel the advanced technology they have shows they are certainly not like us as they think and would interact with each other differently. Otherwise they'd be building unit blocks and flying shit areoplanes just like us and not visiting us at all.

Dave Yognaught AGAIN YOU SAID IT - "They're not like humans" How do you know this? Merely because they evolved somewhere else doesn't mean they are not like humans. Let's take the Native Aboriginals and Native Americans for example. The 2 groups of humans grew up thousands of kilometers away, yet they both "lived off the land", they both had "spiritual connections with the land", and they both got invaded by 2 different groups of humans. And the native aboriginals and native Americans had no contact with each other when they were so far apart, yet their origins are so similar. You cannot merely say It's obvious they are not like they live so far away

I honestly don't think the topic was worth the amount of argument that resulted. You're making definitive statements about entities you're creating from your own imaginations; things you can't even begin to give evidence towards the existence of. I'm not saying they exist or that they don't, but if they did what's to say they wouldn't be so dramatically different from us that we would have no hope of ever fathoming their intentions or reasoning, be they malicious or benevolent?

Either way, it's a silly argument that doesn't warrant this much discussion. The intermingling of two interplanetary species would likely kill all involved parties through cross-contamination anyway.

Also, I hope this makes sense. I'm half way to being delirious from fever and using big words makes me feel a little better.
