The Golden Cube Game

This is the 'Thingy' Game without a 'Thingy'... and a bit different because it is not a 'Thingy'.
Now for people that never played the 'thingy' game:

It is basically a story. Every post is an attempt to get this Golden Cube off of the person that has it in the earlier post.
Not every post you will actually get the Golden Cube so you way need to read a few posts up to find out exactly where it is.
With your first post you may start where ever you like.
But i will begin. (Btw, i'm Munch in this )

The Golden Cube, sat on top of the stone at the end of the stairs. Munch slowly walked up, step by step getting closer to the cube. As he stood beside it he found himself afraid. What if it was cursed? One touch from his hand could boil his flesh or eat him away from head to toes.
This was a giant stone temple in the centre of the forest. He had travelled far from Earth to find it and now he had finally reached his place. Inside the temple he wrapped his green and white scarf around his hands and carefully placed them onto the Golden Cube. He slowly held it up and smiled. "You're mine."

He ran out of the temple with the Cube in hand. "I must get this back to my lab" Running at speeds through the forest.

So we can are on some crazy planet somewhere all on the mission to get the Cube. We know where it is, you can set up a camp/building/town of your own somewhere on the planet. the possibilities are endless.

my first post!

(In this, I am a creature of unusual design and origin. I am a sort of human, with big black bird wings, talons for feet and a lemur tail. and messy hair, from living in the middle of a jungle all my life. a very curious creature. this should be fun. ^_^)

she looked down from the sheltering branches of her tree towards the odd noise that had woken her, and saw a curious looking creature scamper by, holding high a strange, shining box-like thing wrapped in an unusual, long thin cloth. The box was sparkly. It looked secretive and special. It looked valuable and different. most of all, it was shiny. slinking down the side of the tree, she silently gave chase. just as she got behind her new 'friend' she gave a grin, grabbed his sides and yelled "AAAYAYAYHAHAHA!!!" in shock and fear her startled victim dropped the golden cube. Laughing, grinning and muttering softly to herself, she ran forwards and grasped hold of it, spinning it and dancing around, watching the dappled forest light playing across the smooth, beautiful sides and glinting off the corners.

Munch was startled as the winged creature began to dance to herself suddenly holding his golden cube.

"Excuse me....." He made a slight wave. "Hi? That.. that there you are holding. I... well that is mine. May i have it back?" He started to walk slowly towards her but she did not seem to notice his motion.

[Woo]

Very suddenly the novelty of having a shiny golden cube wore off, the dancing became boring and the mystery of what the box could be vanished. All of a few seconds dancing had reveled nothing about the attractive but impractical object other than that it was slightly heavy and a little akward to carry. stopping the dance and looking around for something a little more fun to poke at, she noticed the stranger she had stolen the box from. he looked at her expectantly, and she gave a wide grin. tucking the cube under her left arm, she extended the right hand towards him.
"HIIIIIIYA! you go from where?" she strung a sentance together from what little speech she had learned, from where she couldn't remember.

"I go from....... i go from Earth. I am.. going... back there with this artifact. Trouble is my toilet is on the other side of the planet. I need the cube back from you." He had gone through this way too many times before and snatched the cube from the creatures hands. She most likely did not understand him anyway judging by her words.
He wrapped the cube up with the scarf again, turned away from her and walked in the direction he was originally moving.

[Woo]

shocked and confused, looking down at the empty space her now very important shiny thing had been, she began to cry hystericly and clung on to the funny little stranger. "Noooooo!" the sparkling treasure had to be special, why else would he have taken it? "SHARE! share please to me?" by now her arms where around his leg and her face was pressed to his shoes. "please no leaving..." she sniffled and looked up at him with wide eyes.

[Darkly Chaotic]

(my character's going to be a a panther creature with a prehensile tail and hand like paws, kind of like a cross between a monkey and a panther. he collects shiny objects and hordes them in his lair)
sliding from the shadow of the trees, a small panther like creature quietly stepped out. his eyes caught on the golden object,a glimpse through a dense cloth covering it, and he then knew he needed it for his collection. slowly he slid up to the two strangers, their voices rumbling overhead. his prehensile tail slid up to the cloth and tugged pulling it off.

Munch turned in shock as panther-monkey took the cube with it's tail.
He strained his fingers in his hair, "Not today..." The creature ran off. Munch quickly pulled his backpack from his back and placed it onto the sand. The winged human sat close by staring, exploring these new things.
Munch pulled out a small bubble, held by two fingers.
In a second he had thrown it towards the fast moving panther. The bubble suddenly inflated (Like a waterlollie) and trapped the panthers tail bolting it to the ground like an anchor. Munch ran over. pulled the bubble away, with the cube floating inside. "Nice try."
He crushed up the bubble, placed it into his pocket, put the cube in his backpack and ran as fast as he could through the trees.

[Woo]

taking to her feet, determined not to lose her new friend or the pretty box, the winged girl lept up, took to fer wings and propelled herself towards him at an alarming rate. coming up behind him, she grabbed his backpack with her talons and flew higher, taking him from his feet. "We do go up now, this good?"

[Pickapok]

((My character is a hunter of questionable honor.))

Cyn took aim and fired, a well placed round passing through the Harpy like creatures joint at the top of the curve of one of her wings. The bird plummeted to the ground and the cube bounced off to land at Cyn's feet.

"Mr Munch it would seem you have once again taken what is rightfully mine." He leveled the rifle at Munch. "I'm sorry it had to end like this, old friend. Tis nothing personal, just good business."

[Woo]

stumbleing, beading and crying slightly, the bird girl stood, and stepped between the two men, a look of haterd and pain on her face and directed at the one weilding the object that had caused her such pain. "You hurt Kai. Give back nice thing and not stay." and with one taloned foot, she grasped the gun and pulled it from his hands, flinging it into the undergrowth.

[Pickapok]

"Ah, but you see this is my nice thing. He stole it from me, and now I've stolen it back. But if you really want it then... catch!" Cyn tossed the cube high into the air and withdrew a revolver from a holster in his boot, ready to shoot the thing once it had been sufficiently distracted by the difficult task of catching a shiny object falling from the sky.

[Woo]

maintaining eye contact, she battled with the desperate urge to chase the glittering cube as it fell to the floor. "leave nice thing, go." she said, pointing to the distance.

[crumb]

Whilst the others were distracted Munch had grabbed the Golden cube and placed it into his backpack once again. He didnt make a sound as he swished off into the distance. As he did he collected his blade from his side and held it forward occasionally slashing high grass and branches out from his way.

[Pickapok]

"Maybe I would leave it if it were still here." He pointed to where the cube had fallen. "It's gone." He held up a large dimond. "Play with this for now while I go find it."

With that, Cyn set off afte Munch. His trail was painfully obvious to follow.
