I don't know about the rest, but you can get twice as much ram at faster speeds for around the same price - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231351

I haven't built my own computer before the most I've done is upgrade a graphics card, so I'm not too sure about how RAM compatibility works aside from making sure its the right type like DD3, and on the Motherboard specs it says "DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory" so does that mean it needs to be DIMM ram?

Everything's a DIMM these days.  The motherboard should have a specification to the speed, though.  Anything at or slower than that should be compatible.

"Support for DDR3 1800 (OC)/1666/1333/1066 MHz"
Though I see that Newegg doesn't ship internationally, so if I do buy from there I'm going to have to remail.

I'm pretty terrible at computers, but please sell or pass on the one you have currently please! Don't throw it away! Or any gadget for that matter.

Nobody likes to concider the waste from their gaming habits have detrimental effects on the environment and people you don't know, but it's true. No wasting! Besides, you can save a friend some money  Smiley

I'm not throwing out my current one, I'm pretty much being kicked off it constantly which is why I'm buying my own one.

Pretty hefty system, you shouldn't worry much for the next couple of years.

Perhaps consider a custom heatsink for the processor, 3.7 ghz quadcore sounds like it could get really hot after a few hours under load.
Don't know anything about the processor though.
I've put a huge heatsink on my AMD Phenom Quadcore and use a passive cooled videocard cause I hate the high pitched hum caused by 80mm fans.
I only have 120mm fans and low speed 90mm fans in my case.
But that's really personal, most people don't seem to mind the noise small fans make.

I thought overheating might be a problem, for the time being when I get the computer I'll try it out and see how it goes and if any overheating problems occur pick up a new heatsink.

I forgot to update the specs aswell instead of a GTX 550 it's a MSI Radeon HD6850 Cyclone Power Edition OC.

Well, I'm not sure it'll overheat, that casing looks to have pretty good airflow.
However, under full load those standard fans tend to start spinning like crazy, just the sound usually drives me nuts.

Depending on timing and how much money I get for my birthday might swap that case out for a nice Antec 900.

You could turn a walk-in freezer into a gaming room; just purchase a nice heavy coat & you'll never have to worry about drowning out the sound of the fans.  Grin

Looks nice though; I'm a bit jealous

Time for an update.
This is my current build I'm looking at went over my initial budget.
Code:
Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Case
In stock $139.00   $139.00
G.Skill Ripjaws F3-16000CL9D-8GBRM (2x4GB) DDR3
Ships in 24hrs $159.00   $159.00
Seagate Barracuda 500GB ST3500413AS
In stock $39.00   $39.00
ASRock Z68 Pro3-M Motherboard B3
In stock $139.00   $139.00
Aereon Asroc ASC-700C 700W Power Supply
In stock $89.00   $89.00
Intel Core i7 2600K
In stock $320.00   $320.00
VTX3D Radeon HD6950 2GB
In stock $269.00   $269.00

Sub-Total: $1154

I am hopefully picking up a job tomorrow so I'll be able to go over this budget by a bit too.
One more question will that PSU be able to stand another 8GBs of RAM, a 2nd HDD, a 2nd Graphics Card and some LEDs Cheesy?
I'm going to get a 2nd HDD just for backups (Via Hackintosh'd Time Machine) Both HDDs will probably be larger than that 500GB one.
